Alaska does not accept the license name change online. A visit to Alaska Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is required.
REAL ID in Alaska
Alaska law (AS 28.05.071) requires you to notify the DMV of a name change within 30 days, and the DMV's own page says to bring proof of the change in person at a DMV office. Name changes cannot be done online; complete Form D1, and may need to pass a vision test. A REAL ID-compliant credential requires additional proof of identity/residency documents.
