How T-Mobile says to do it
- In person: For a name change from marriage, divorce or a spelling error, take your documents to a T-Mobile retail store.
- By mail: For other legal name changes, mail your supporting documents and a copy of a government-issued photo ID to the address on its page.
- Online: Not for the account name: its page only says the name on your T-Mobile ID profile or Caller ID can be changed by signing in to your profile.
