How Chase says to do it
- Online: Its credit card article says Chase customers who have already updated their name with the Social Security Administration may change their name on credit or deposit accounts online at chase.com or in the Chase app, without providing additional legal documentation. It does not say what applies if you have not updated Social Security first.
